When not being demented by children he occupies his time as an architect and partner with Young & Gault Architects based at Spiers Wharf in Glasgow. Stuart adds, "As far as the elusive 'free time' goes, I enjoy doing absolutely no sports, no exercise, no cooking and no healthy outdoor pursuits. It is hard work avoiding all this stuff but very worthwhile as it leaves more time for eating too much rubbish and sleeping. I have been known to enjoy the odd hour or two with my model trains and could bore for Scotland on that front."
